Here are two examples of "visual supports" one parent used to help her child eat at the kitchen table. She made the expectation clear... visual actually across from where the child sits... then she received a laminated placemat from the child's teacher (K. Dively) with other expectations presented. Notice these "visuals" are viewable at the site of the expected behavior (sit and eat at the table). The child's mother added stickers of "Thomas the Train"... the child's interest. :)
