The first picture is of a structured, independent work area for a child with an autistic disorder. (The child who uses this area when doing his independent work, has severe challenges in language, communication, socialization, and exhibits some intense and challenging behaviors.) This work station has been very effective for the child who uses this area.
The picture below the work station is of locators or different classes/teachers the child sees on certain days. These are placed on a schedule just below the pictures.
